Jason O. Chan is a professional debate coach and the CEO of POIdeas. He trains debaters to compete in local and international debate tournaments in BP, World's Schools, and HKSSDC format. Both schools he coached in 2020-2021 either won the Finals or entered the Grand Finals in HKSSDC.
He loves debating. He feels the adrenaline rush throughout the debate regardless if he is speaking or judging. He envisions debating is used as a tool to promote fun learning in the education field and apply the debating drills to benefit businesses in other sectors. Thus, he established POIdeas to help companies analyze and incubate ideas from the start.

Jason studied BBA in Marketing Information Management and MA in English Studies at CityU and HKU, respectively. He is also interested in psychology, particularly mental health issues. After retiring as an athlete and a Taekwondo coach, Jason now enjoys coffee. Of course, he is always down for a game of chess too!
